Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host ourselves. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other websites. All measurements are aggregated and cannot be used to identify an individual visitor.

In addition to page views, we record the following as aggregated counts:

• Clicks on outbound links that take you to another website.
• Clicks that start a file download.
• Form submissions, so we know how often our forms are used.
• Visits to a 404 “page not found” page, including the path that was requested, so we can fix broken links.

None of these events record who you are, and we do not combine them with any other information about you.

Contact form

When you send us a message through the contact form, the details you enter — your name, email address, and any phone number, subject and message you provide — are emailed to us so we can reply. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for marketing.

The form is protected by a hidden anti-spam field and, where enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile is used solely to tell humans from bots.

Business directory sign-up

When you submit a listing through our business directory sign-up form, the details you enter — your business name, NZBN, industry, year established, the owner's name and country of origin, your business address, phone number, email address, description, website and social media links, and the logo image you upload — are emailed to us and stored so we can review your listing.

If we publish your listing, these details (except your answer to the newsletter question) appear publicly in the business directory. That is the purpose of the form, so please only submit information you are happy to make public. If you ask to sign up to our newsletter, we also use your name and email address to send it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

This form is protected by the same hidden anti-spam field and Cloudflare Turnstile check as the contact form.
